Beyoncé’s BeyGood Foundation has donated $100,000 to the University of Houston’s Law Center, enhancing its Criminal Justice Clinic and increasing opportunities for students.
This Christmas season, Beyoncé is giving back to her roots. The world star's BeyGood Foundation gave $100,000 to the University of Houston's Law Center on December 11. The Criminal Justice Clinic will be able to hire a full-time head and offer a lot more services thanks to the money.
The center helps people in need of legal help for free and gives law students the chance to learn by doing. With this donation, the University of Houston hopes to get more students to join the school and give them a better, more complete education in criminal justice.
Dean Leonard Baynes said, "I am thrilled that the BeyGood Foundation has given this very kind gift to the UH Law Center." "This money will not only help us open a full-time Criminal Justice Clinic, but it will also make our already great criminal law and justice programs even better."
Beyoncé's donation shows how much she cares about schooling and her hometown. Her organization has always given money to projects that work for education, social justice, and community growth.
The Law Center at the University of Houston appreciated the donation and said that the larger clinic would help them serve the community and train the next crop of lawyers.
Beyoncé's holiday gift keeps up her tradition of using her fame and resources to help people and leave a lasting impression.
