Facebook Messenger had the most significant percentage of reported faults, with most users struggling to access its mobile app. By 2 p.m. ET, services on all platforms had resumed, and many users reported restored functionality.
As of writing, Meta, the parent company of the affected platforms, has yet to release a statement regarding the cause of the outages.
