Luke Bryan Inducted into RodeoHouston’s Star Trail of Fame

Luke Bryan is a famous country music singer who has become a RodeoHouston legend. On Sunday, the five-time Entertainer of the Year was added to the Star Trail of Fame, making him the eleventh artist to receive the award.

Bryan will perform at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for the 12th time since his first show there in 2012. Patrick Mann Phillips, Chairman of the Board for HLSR, and Chris Boleman, President and CEO, gave him a gold plaque at a special event.

"Luke Bryan has always been one of the most-wanted performers at RodeoHouston, and he has had an immeasurable impact on our organization and the people who come," Boleman said. "He is the best of what the rodeo is all about, and we are proud to include him in the Star Trail of Fame."

Bryan joins Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Reba McEntire, Elvis Presley, and Selena as a select group of recipients.

Bryan said, "What an honor it has been to perform at RodeoHouston for so many years." "I'm so proud of how the Rodeo has changed the lives of Texas students and the community."

Bryan has sold 55.5 million tracks, 11.5 million albums, and 22.6 billion streams worldwide over the course of his work. 96.5 million digital single units and 18 million album-certified units add up to 114.5 million units, making him the most digital single-certified country act of all time.

Bryan is now officially one of the all-time greats at RodeoHouston. He was one of the most popular performers in rodeo.
