  1. 2026-07-20 Editor's note

This publication moved to our current platform. Earlier iterations used pen-name-style bylines; that practice has ended. Articles now credit the source outlet, the reporter named in the source feed, or our editorial desk. Archival articles published without a recorded source link are attributed to the editorial desk rather than to a source we cannot verify.

  2. 2026-07-20 Correction
Source attribution and images on aggregated stories

A pipeline defect caused some aggregated stories to display a generic image and credit "Google News" rather than the originating outlet. Affected items were removed and re-published with correct outlet attribution; the pipeline now extracts the original publisher for every syndicated item.

  3. 2026-07-20 Editor's note
Archival items removed pending source verification

578 archival articles from our earlier platform (2024–2026) were published without a recorded source link. Because we cannot verify their provenance, they have been removed rather than re-attributed. Requests about a specific removed item: editor@nexcom.media.

  4. 2026-07-20 Clarification
Archive review superseded earlier byline note

An earlier note on this log said archival items without recorded sources were attributed to our editorial desk. The July 20, 2026 archive review superseded that approach: archival items whose sources could not be verified have been removed, and their URLs return an explanatory notice. This entry records the sequence so the log reads consistently.

  5. 2026-07-20 Update

Obituary and death-notice content has been discontinued across this publication. Remaining obituary-style items from the legacy archive have been removed, and the automated pipeline does not ingest obituary or death-notice content.
